The manufacturers of our airplane, The Airplane Factory, have sold their 100th airplane so there's a mega-party happening at the factory in Johannesburg tomorrow and we are driving up there from the coast (about 6 hours by car) to celebrate with the mad bunch of aviators. It's the time of the week when I've had enough and can't wait for the weekend.. especially this one as I'm going to Cape Town for a few days. The weather's unlikely to be better than our home town on the east coast of South Africa (always great in Durban), but Cape Town is a great city for a break and also get to see my son who is studying there.
